Hello, my name is Rob and I am a dog walker, carer and boarder. I took early retirement after working in primary education for 30+ years.

I founded Seren Dog Walking & Pet Services in 2022 and we have grown into a well-loved small business. Seren is the Welsh word for ‘star,’ reflecting our commitment to providing star-quality care for every dog entrusted to us

We are a fully licensed, pet first-aid trained, enhanced DBS checked and insured home boarder, day carer and dog walker based in Shotton, Flintshire.

Flintshire Local Authority Licence No: AB0173.
The majority of our clients live in Nort-East.Wales, Ellesmere Port and Chester.

I’m trained by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and a proud member of The Modern Dog Walkers Association (MDWA).

At Seren Dog Walking and Pet Services, we welcome sociable, house-trained dogs into our family home where they’re treated as one of our own.

We do welcome entire male dogs ONLY if they are well behaved, sociable, house-trained and good with other dogs.

I’m supported by my partner, Sarah, who brings many years of hands-on experience in raising and caring for dogs. Her calm, caring nature and understanding of canine behaviour make her an invaluable part of the team. Together, we’re committed to providing the best possible care for every dog we care for.


Whether you are at work, out for the day or going on holiday we are here to care for your canine companions. With long working hours and busy social lives, it’s not easy to ensure your dog gets the exercise and stimulation they require. At Seren Dog Walking, dogs staying with us, will ensure dogs will have a minimum of two walks per day and lots of time to play.

We have a secure back garden and live close to a country park. We welcome house trained and sociable dogs of most breeds and sizes, we encourage exercise, play and socialising with other dogs in a safe and fun environment.

We get to know your dog and cater for their needs – whether that’s action-packed fun all day or simply relaxing and enjoying peace and tranquillity chilling out.

We believe that your dog deserves to feel comfortable and happy in their “home from home”, whilst you’re at work, on holiday or out for the day. We understand that dogs are part of the family, and not all breeds are suited to kennels. We offer a premium service for your dog.
